Substance pass: curve PHRASING (mostly-straight road, discrete eased curve events announced by chevron signs; bridge dead straight) so obstacles telegraph from the horizon; road widened for real line-choosing; world-anchored curve integrals make every billboard fully continuous (the last obstacle jitter died with the per-boundary accumulation residual); obstacle patterns (slaloms, gates, chains); pulsing trooper lightbars; horse rebuilt anatomy-first with strand-hair mane and tail and a caparison that actually drapes. Bot-authored proofs, recorder now pads past the final completion.

Legibility pass: billboards now evaluate at fractional depth against a shared slice table (the sideways lurching was integer-segment snapping at every boundary crossing); objects grow through the collision plane instead of vanishing early. Bob and gallop are time-based (z-keyed animation aliased into vibration and leg-strobe), lean is tweened with the console's new lerp(), shake is a soft sine. Speeds calmed to 26/72. CLI recorder now pads recordings past the last completion (this ride once finished two frames beyond its own verify horizon).

Deep improvement pass by Claude Fable: road renderer rebuilt on tri quads with a projection-geometry fix (gameplay units now match the visual road); five skies repainted as banded gradients with biome silhouettes (festival tents, farm skyline, the full Bay Bridge span, loblolly marsh, lighthouse coast); the horse redrawn at 120x140 with a heraldic caparison and a true 4-phase gallop; moving traffic on the highways (rear-end slower cars for rampage, dodge oncoming); buck is now a leap; STAMPEDE spends full rampage on an invincible charge; trooper roadblocks with a gap lane; victory repainted as a golden-hour arrival among the wild ponies. Proofs authored closed-loop by bots/rider.lua via the bot tool.

Real stakes: health/wipeout system. Ditch driving and trooper hits now cost real health; hit zero and you're bucked off short of Assateague. Steering now actually matters — stronger steer response, softer curve drift, and a genuine fail state.

Equine Crime — pseudo-3D Maryland road rampage, horse escapes the Renfest and gallops to Assateague Island
